Unless you want to declare it a C.Ia.... I have already awarded half points.

I hope that this works for you.

Cheers, FOKKERJ

Hello Jay,

I think we have got a little mix-up here.

I have never mentioned Albatros C.Ia. In my view this plane looks like Albatros C.Ib. My opinion was based on description contained in Grey & Thetford (second edition, p. 22, last paragraph). I was convinced that lack of observer’s gun turret means this particular type labeled by the authors as C.Ib. Now, after reading Windsock Datafile No 57 I am not so sure. P.M. Grosz named few types of training derivatives of C.I.

Anyway, having no evidence we must agree that this is Albatros C.I. In this case the victory belongs to Richard as he was the first who indicated this type in your challenge.

Besides I have got the worst news – this challenge will be probably disqualified by Breguet.

Regards

Marek

PS. Oops, I was late as usual. Sorry.

Thank you Marek.... I will change Scoreboard AGAIN!

I will let Richard know that after three winners that it has been finally sorted out to some conclusion.

Best Wishes, Jay
