Heine prop info

Hello, My name is Robert. 12+ years ago I received a propeller while in Argentina. It is a HEINE propeller with the following information: #D305#
H 230 <> Heine<> 44751 . 8 lamination 120" with brass tips Circa 1920-1930
It was sugjested to be a spare prop for the GRAF ZEPPELIN. Can any one help me find out what this prop was used for Thx RP

Hi Robert,

Welcome to the Aerodrome.

Try contacting Bob Gardner at Aeroclocks. Bob is probably the expert on WWI props here, but he seems to be an infrequent visitor. There is an e-mail link at top of the Aeroclocks Propellor page.

I might try going over to the Wooden Propellers Forum and asking those guys. If anyone knows for sure it would be them. My initial thought is it sounds more like a prop off of a 1920s era aircraft, but they should know for sure.
