E2501 was built by Bristols in production batch E2151-E2650---the only (close but not quite) similar one I can find is E2506 with 88 Squadron.

48 squadron used numbers very like that.....

Sorry I've got no more ideas....

drailton Observer Join Date: Feb 2009 Posts: 50	Almost certainly not a pic of an aircraft in German hands. It would have been taken by my late father in law from when he was in the RFC/RAF - too many units/locations to mention as possibilities.
