Macchi M5, looking for photo

Hi,

I'm looking for photo of the inside of Macchi M5.

There is only one in windsock datafile .

It seems that there is in windsock international N°6 Vol 6 ( Italian Warplane Special) but it is out of printed and I do not find it.

Somebody could scan me pictures which could interest me?

Regards

Hello,

I am also interested in this information because I'm currently building the 1/48 Macchi M.5 from Fly Models.

Despite a search on this forum, the only view I have comes from the Windsock Datafile No. 84.
Some photos of the Macchi M.7 preserved in Sweden are visible on the net, but the layout of the cockpit is very different.

Could you share with us the informations you will gather ?

Best regards.

Sylvain.

Salut Sylvain, Hi

of course.

I'm building the same Macchi.

I'm finding one page of windsock intenational with macchi M5 drawings, but it look like Machi M7 cockpit (....) :

And two photos of "scratch building" macchi.

The builder find a photo into:

"Medal of Honor (Aviators of World War One, Volume 1)"

I do not know if information is reliable.

Si je trouve autre chose je te tiens au courant mais je pense que l'info n'est pas connue.

A+

Hi,

Here you're going to find a Macchi M5 new book with pictures.

http://www.avioebooks.com/welcome%20page.htm

The book will be ready in a few week (or days....).

A book about Motore Isotta Fraschini V4b is in progress.

Regards.

Louis
