Final flight of the Vimy

Brooklands retired their Vickers yesterday; caught on film for its final (or so they think) flight. No irony whatsoever in flying over the big Mercedes star on the way.

I can't post the link; not enough posts--search youtube for "Vimy Arrival at Brooklands Museum."

Do you think he switched it off so abruptly because he was going to hit the trees?

That's OK and probably the wisest move.

Almost three years ago, I alleviated all doubt on my very first Post.

Sounds like somebody is fishing for a "Crash Foto" (with trees!) to tease and torment over on the BCFC!
