Indeed---thanks Brez---you misunderstand me Hciscar.
Many 'profile' type artworks are wrong----believe me, the Windsock ones are rated amongst the best, with good photo coverage to base their artwork on.
I will quote you what the book say's."....he flew several aircraft. This one was confirmed as his by
Josef Mai and is one we thought we knew very well, but photos. from Dilcher's album held a surprise. Supposedly it had the unit tail and nose to include the 10cm red nose band, a GREY fuselage with a green band bearing a yellow eight pointed star. We now know how they got that yellow star; it was the varnished plywood of the ex-works fuselage! No yellow paint there! One would guess that there were 'D's under the lower wings at some point, and it had a Wolff propeller"
There is a picture of this machine--a photo. which certainly gives me no reason to suppose they are wrong with there assertion of 'grey fuselage' (page 37)-------but feel free to get in touch with anyone to help you further....
