Call for european youngsters interested in restoration

This is a call to all young adult Europeans (m+f) between 18 and 30 y.o., interested in classic aircraft restoration.

Through a special EU program, Aero Fénix Museum is looking for volunteers wanting to spend one year in Portugal, restoring classic aircraft and learning the Portuguese culture and language.

Travel expenses are covered and volunteers will also be granted allowances for current expenses.

If you're interested (or know someone who will) please contact us at:

aero.fenix _at_ sapo.pt

Please include a statement of interest and a motivation letter.
Prior working experience is not required but we do require passion for Aviation and responsibility.
Knowledge of English (or Portuguese) is desirable.

Ricardo,

Thanks for posting this. I don't qualify, as I am neither young, nor European, but it sounds like a great opportunity for those who do. Do you know how many openings there are?

Steve

We want to start light so we think we would take two persons. If the program is successful we can expand. I'm also looking for alternative contemplating another "target groups" but everything in due time.

cheers!

Exactly... wow, sounds like a dream. And to spend a year in a beautiful place like Portugal!

Don't worry Paolo, we could come there dressing short trousers and sucking a lollipop. We must remember to dye hairs and shave face and legs also...
