Hi Steve

a few remarks:

there is another picture of the same incident

http://www.earlyaeroplanes.com/archi...Weddingen1.jpg

and the inscription is WEDDIGEN for Kapitänleutnant Otto Weddigen, commander of submarine U9 which sank the British cruisers HOGUE, ABOUKIR and CRESSY on 22nd september 1914.

And may I ask for a point?

Hi Joachim,

Thanks for the additional comments.

I have edited the scoreboard to give you your point. I am sorry that I forgot to do it the first time.

Which gives me an idea. Shall we award all the aces over X points with a Victoria Cross or PLM, retire them to desk jobs, or re-set their scores to zero?

Actually for 25 kills you get the Pour Le Breguet ( ¤ on the scoreboard ), and for 50 you get it with Oakleaves (¤¤ ).

I do not like the idea to retire to a desk job, but resetting the score or better raising the handicap would be ok.

By the way I did read your tail --- in this thread!

And for 75 you get crossed swords with diamonds, and for 100 you get a knighted with a Title. Unless someone completely disgraces themselve there are no penalties for being good at your job!

Oh com'on.... You're just saying that to get the competition fired up!
Besides, I was taught to not cross swords.... Something about the world ending or something like that.

My point exactly! If FokkerJ Feuchtwanger can keep his points, anyone can!
