Le Rhone 9Jb to italys Nieuports?

I think the french replaced the LeRhone 9Ja with the 9Jb for their Nieuports in early 1917.Does anyone know when the italiens changed their engines?Regards,Detlev

hello ermeio and paolomina.The differece between the two engines is that the LeRhone 9Ja has iron(cast?)pistons and the 9Jb has aluminium-pistons.9Ja rated at 110 hp ,9Jb at 120.Regards,Detlev
