Gitter Observer Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: Bielefeld Posts: 78	Le Rhone 9Jb to italys Nieuports? I think the french replaced the LeRhone 9Ja with the 9Jb for their Nieuports in early 1917.Does anyone know when the italiens changed their engines?Regards,Detlev

Gitter Observer Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: Bielefeld Posts: 78	hello ermeio and paolomina.The differece between the two engines is that the LeRhone 9Ja has iron(cast?)pistons and the 9Jb has aluminium-pistons.9Ja rated at 110 hp ,9Jb at 120.Regards,Detlev
