Cooper 20lb bombs

Hi Lads

I've had a trawl, but cannot find any information on the stencelling
printed on these bombs . . . Can anyone assist. Any info gratefully
recieved. Cheers in anticipation :-)

But were they that sandy colour?lve seen lots of shots where they are definately a dark tone , green or black. l wonder if this sandy colour is a post war thing?

I am not sure. I painted that one to match a photo I have. I also have a dark one.

Yes they were, although they were a little more yellow than sand coloured. The sandy yellow colour of British HE bombs continued into WW2.
