Camel ditching photo?

I am looking at the front cover of the original 1969 edition of Harald Pensrose's book "British Aviation: The Great War and Armistice" (Putnams 1969).

The cover photo shows a British biplane, which to my eye looks like a Camel, splashing down into the water with a line of Thames sailing barges in the background. Unfortunately the photo is uncaptioned.

I apologise for not being able to reproduce the picture here, but if anyone has got access to this book, and can tell me any more about the photo, I would be very grateful.
