Breguet's Crash Files

The Rules
All aircraft are of the 1914-18 period (Must have left the ground during this period).
The score board, link and rules must be copied to the beginning of each thread, so that we know where we are. The score board and the correct answer to the challenge must also be placed at end of each thread.
All "ACES" with a score of 5.0 or higher must obey the 3.0 hour handicap. All others with a score of ZERO to 4.99 may start immediately, if not sooner! Offenders will be dealt with severely!
To be eligible for correct ID an answer must include at least one characteristic of the aircraft that helped in it's identification.
And whoever wins this challenge will have to provide a new one! If this can not be done for any reason, please PM Breguet and he will take over as host!
If an ace gives the correct answer too early, the challenge is over, he gets no point but has to post the next challenge. In lieu of the fact that the "novices" have in effect been "cheated" of their "exclusive" time that next post should be a relatively easy one. Anyone repeating the correct answer at the right time gets neither a point nor the right to post the next challenge.
The final arbitrator of all things to do with the "rules" is Breguet.

Hi John,

You can check the time at the bottom of the page. For example, at the bottom of my page it says:

All times are GMT -7. The time now is 07:14 AM.

This is for my time zone in California, U.S. I would guess that your time zone should be GMT. If your settings are correct, all the times on the posts should be in your local time. For example, the time I see for your post is 02:57 AM, while you should see it as 09:57 AM. If your time zone settings are not correct, you can change them in the UserCP (see the dark grey menu bar at the top of the page).

SCMc I think the time thing was in reference to the 3hrs John Mc has to wait to answer this challenge. Thanks however for confirming what I thought that meant on the bottom of the page

Hi Bruno,

this seems to be an FE-2, nose of nacelle and position of control horn are my clues, and size is too much for a single seater.

It may be a FE2, however this wreck is so battered .. from the control cable lever it also could be an Airco D.H.2

edit: from the engine (if it is the engine - an inline one) it should then be a FE2, and Flamingo is right.

Gentleman, we need to be more specific here as we are dealing with very different aircraft. This is not a rotary or Renault engined pusher.
