Thanks for the info on GMax Xeidos2 . Ive taken a note of it and will look into it once I get a bit more familiar with 3D techniques. Im getting quite confused with all the new "jargon" associated with the subject

Thanks John.. you must frequent some of the places I hang out

Hi John, I wish I was doing 3D art . Ive spent the last couple of weeks getting a real model Caproni ready for its maiden fight. You can see it in the R/C model section. Im almost at the end of my tether with it The past two nights Ive been out in the garden annoying the neighbours, trying to get the engines running in sync with each other. They were the cheapest engines I could buy (well Im Scottish so what do you expect ) and a big mistake. Hopefully they will settle down with a bit more running. At present, it runs up the garden like a balloon ..when you let go the end !! So no chance of getting it airbourne yet. Hopefully by Saturday it will be all right. As for the 3D models Im still hoping to get the Avro (or two) trying to shoot down a balloon. Ive also got the main wire work done for Guynemer's Spad. A good forum friend from rcScalebuilder is taking his 1/3 scale SE5a to Rhinebeck shortly and is going to get me pictures of their Jenny so both a 3D model and R/C model of that will be in the near future. Another friend sent me the Proctor plan all the way from the US of A for the Jenny. Dont know if you have seen them but its one of the best plans Ive seen and Ive seen a few.. so detailed. I also want to do a ...and a... Time is the problem ...oh to be retired but thats wishing life away Once I get the Caproni in the air or kick it to bits Ill get back to art. Its certainly not as frustrating.
