Fokker EV/DVIII

With all the interest in the four color wing of the EV/DVIII, is anyone thinking of doing a painting with that theme???
Sure would like to have one over my fireplace.

Hey Deljohn, ever considered commissioning a painting?

Missed it by THAT much

Excellent idea Russ.....but you know the old saying. "Paint it and they will come". Too bad there are 100 ideas ahead of the D.VIII's. You know though a commission will quickly re-prioritze that list !

deljon- Steve Anderson has already done a watercolor with that wing color scheme and Sachsenberg's yellow and black checkerboard fuselage. The boys are right, it was a commission. E.V had a pretty dismal combat record and killed more German pilots than it did Entente pilots.
