Sorry to be so slow in responding, but I don't get into this forum too often. I suppose that ought to change!
Let me first say that I like your work!
As for the information on individual aircraft not being easy to come by, the only suggestion I can offer is to begin accumulating a reference library of WW1 profiles. Great strides along this line can be made through use of the public library and the copy machines usually available there! For example, the profile of Cobby's E7267 is shown on page 56 of his book
High Adventure, and a two-page profile of his operational F.1 Camel with 4 Squadron A.F.C. is shown on pages 54-55. Another color profile of Camel B7406, also from 4 Squadron A.F.C., is shown on page 38 of the Osprey publication
Sopwith Camel Aces of World War 1. These and similar sources can provide valuable guidance on such matters as color tone and placement of markings, for comparison with whatever other information you may have gathered.
