Werner Voss Triplane in color
Here it is- my first WW1 recolored image. Not easy to recolor green streaks. Note something- mechanich simply enjoy to leave their bike in front of the airplane. Anyway I hope you will like it.

Srecko- Photo looks familiar, for some reason. Very nice work, and the color scheme can get you in multiple discussions here.

All right mate- I am moderator on one forum with 300 thousand of users and I held desk about the Photoshop. Well- all of this is written by me in the Serbian language and still have to make lecture about the recolor technique.
But no problem- I will make one for you...

The blue sky is wrong, in my opinion it should be a light gray or just reduce the blue saturation a lot. The sky at that time, was not clear because the shadows are not strong, there are soft shadows. My hypothesis of the atmospheric condition is this picture was taken in the early morning (light source to the right at about 30-40 degrees) with tremendous atmospheric haze.

Comment is good as well I wanted in first moment to put the sky into the grey blue color. But then I change my
mind. Sky in the morning can be clear blue but grey blue too. Maybe clouds miss some pink illumination from the
sun. Haze is very possible on this image but it is far from dense and very low so can not have any influence on the
color of the sky. But can not give precise answer and in this way your suggestion could be good.
When I have read your post I have remember something I have read long time ago, about the researchers who had
stated that in the ancient time and the age when the Herodot live, possibly the color of the sea was red brown or
wine red. This was based on some of the impression from the manuscript of the time and oppinion was that the
reason for this could be found in the different structure of the atmosphere.
Anyway- it's might to be that my first attempt to recolor WW1 subject is failed. Life is go on...
