Thanks, Jos, for the colorful Biggles artwork.

Today, I'm going all black and white line art...

There were a bunch of these small pamphlets published about various units, and some had pretty cool little graphics on the covers. Here's an example with an unknown artist

The next two are only identified as by "Stuckey"

Biggles black and white

Hello Dan,

You continue this thread with some black and white covers, I'll go along with you.

Here are several covers of Biggles' stories. These booklets were published in a limited edition. In the Netherlands not all the stories of Biggles were translated and published in books. The International Biggles Association published each of those "missing adventures" in booklets. The interesting thing is that the booklet contains the story in English and in Dutch.
See the example of Biggles takes the bait. One side is English; turn the booklet around and you can read the story in Dutch.

All the covers are from Peter van Stigt.

Wonderful covers! I'd only just read my first Biggles adventure a year or so ago. Fun stories and very well written for youngsters.

From ebay. Here's a first edition Arch Whitehouse I'd never seen before. This is much cooler than the cover mine has.

The Years of the Sky Kings

Bonjour Jan!

Great! I have a first of the edition of the book, but with no jacket. The cover of the the first edition is quite attractive, having two Fokker D.VII, one red, one blue, inset on the front of the binding.

Salut!
Kirk

That's really nice, Kirk. I love it when there's something under the dust jacket like that.
