Stanley Orton Bradshaw redux
Hi,
I believe most of these were done by Bradshaw, but I can't be sure. I really like the black Pfalz-ish plane with the single "I" struts on the cover of The Black Hawk. The color scheme is a preview of "The Black Falcon" in Flyboys!

two more titles,
The book by Phil May, has some great illustrations by Mr.May, not too costly otherwise. The other cover is for the folio edition of Sagitarius Rising , from 1998 i believe.

one thing is clear...
...kids back in the 1930's couldn;t complain of a lsck of titles about WW1 aviation!
