Josef,
Flying Section 17 is a memoir of Heydemarck's experiences as an observer with FFA 17 on the Western Front. He wrote three books, the first of two of which, Double Decker C.666 and Flying Section 17, cover the Western Front experiences. War Flying in Macedonia covers his time with FA 30 in Macedonia. All the books are good reads, and were originally published in German. The English translations are by Claude Sykes (aka Vigilant).

Two day gap results in more pictures. These fanciful covers are from Popular Mechanics in 1917.

Are we running out of steam? I still have covers to post, so here goes.
Francis Bergese
Another cover stamping. This book is neat because the covers are "doped linen from the wings of wrecked airplanes." Each cover is different. This is a 1919 book.

Czech
Jos,
Those Czech books are great! My paternal grandparents are Czech so I enjoyed seeing some aviation books in this language. Thanks for posting these! Very unique!
