Is this artist still with us? I like it really much There is an anniversary edition on amazon but I dont know how old the book is.

Kilian,

The artist is Michael Roffe. I don't know whether he is still around. Check out posts 120 and 133 for more of his work. He illustrated a number of books for Osprey, and is also an illustrator of children's books.

The original versions of Alex Imrie's books on German and British Fighter Units were published in 1978 by Osprey.

I can't find this book to see who the artist is, but here it is anyway. All my books are currently stacked awaiting the completion of our new library room.
