And a fanciful cover for a Kimberly Clark advertising spread:

rudolph stark

i have been looking for this title for some time now , i have read and reread WIngs of War, one of my favorite WWI avaition titles of all time. But the original book in German proved, for me hard to find. Nice looking cover- fairly consistent with the Germanic covers of that time:: the title is interesting, the fighter squadron being the pilots homeland!

knight raiders of the air

Although the images are not technically the cover, my copy of this book by A.R. Kingsford did not have a cover although i believe the image of the Handley pages on the ground is also the cover illustration. I thought i would at least mention this book because it was not expensive( my book is without the DJ, and in not great shape), but the illustrations are well worth it- very nice and in the style of Bridgeman- however i think they are signed James Den, anyone familiar with this artist?
