It seemed only appropriate for my 500th post that I should post here or in the book section, and since I have some images still, I thought I'd go here. Here's another bird of prey image for Greg, and another Don Greer. I posted the reprint cover of the 840th Aero earlier, but recently obtained the original, which I like much better.

Well... I am arranged and now work on my first cover art. Nothing related on WW1 art so no need to inform you about details. But hope that I will have WW1 subject

Cheers

I am glad you liked the paintings Yavor, my pleasure

This is not an airplane painting but is aviation related. Thought it was interesting to share.

A late war flak gun, by Segrelles.

Hi There,

Here is the cover to the new Polish edition of Peter Kilduff's book, Richthofen: Beyond the Legend of the Red Baron. Very nice!

Hello,

There really isn't much 'art' to this, but it is a book cover. This is Seppl: A Step Ahead of Politics. It is a novelized life story of the German ace Josef 'Seppl' Veltjens, by his son Klaus, published in 2009. There isn't much new in the book regarding Veltjens' WWI exploits, and most of it concerns his family life and his career in the 1920's, 30's and WW II.

EDIT: Ooops, just found five minutes later that the image I posted is only half of the painting. Since I cannot delete the post, here is a cropped up scan of the cover of Pusher Aces of World War I, it has been posted before, but this one is a higher resolution
