Sorry, I didn't meant to be disparaging. I love the cover artwork, of course but the box of postcards is not very good value for the money compared with the previous battle postcards edition.
I meant that the cover art you already own by having the relevant books, and IMO, the images could have been cropped to eliminate the empty space where the lettering goes and make a better more balanced postcard.
The overall impression is of a disappointing half hearted effort on the part of Osprey to cash in on the success of the previous box. It's not good at all if your interest is WWI aviation, and if you are interested in WWII there's a lot of jet pictures I can do without.
Also the vertical format is unsuitable for aviation scenes, and only six of the WWII postcards are in horizontal format.
The battle box had 3 terrific WWII scenes and 1 great WWI dogfight. All things considered I cannot honestly recommend this box. I think Osprey can do better, but it seems their business is now selling online subscriptions so you can download battle scenes.
Really, I don't see what's the point for Osprey to commision artwork for their books, if they mangle it with the double page spread like in the Campaign books. Many people buy Osprey books only for the plates. In some of the recent titles like New Vanguard they do things right by putting the plates in the middle of the book in horizontal format. Even smaller it looks much better.
I wish Osprey keep up the idea of selling boxes of postcards, but I fear they will go along with the suscription scheme, wich I find unappealing, since I don't buy so many Osprey books to benefit from the discount, and I am only interested in it about the plates. If I could purchase prints directly from the artists that would be good too.

Thought it would be nice to share this Eduard box art of a Junkers JI , to preserve it. I swear I could buy kits only for the box art.

I ran out of Eduard boxes to scan, but found this unusual box art of this Albatros DIII Oeffag 253 of Friedrich Navratil - Eduard Profipack
I touched it up a bit. I hope more people will follow the lead and scan those little great works of art that is box art. Usually people just take a bad quality photo of the box from a distance, sometimes not even bothering to remove the shrinkwrap

Well, Tim, it's not like there isn't already some muck with 900 odd posts, and, really, what harm would more art do?
Here's a couple more covers, again with unknown artists:
Someone should know who this is, but I couldn't find any mention in the book or find a sig on the work itself:
