A very very enjoyable thread.

Really great chatting and super retro artwork on one of the more interesting WWI topics IMHO. Here is my quadrouple remarqued "Last Dance of the Hussar" by Russell Smith hanging proudly on my wall.

Anyone else have anything from their collection at home they want to show us all? I would love to see an original pencil drawing on this subject.

regards
pat

Mate,
Here is one that I picked up about 3 years ago and I thought that it was pretty neat.

Mates,
So far this thread has got me all excited as to what new pics can be produced from someone's attic, celler, dusty book shelf, etc.

The folks that produced this outstanding art work are like the unsung hero's of our past.

Thanks for the tour, and await further listings.

that is lovely tcrean

Super looking pencil drawing, I like the tightness of it.
Some artists go with a looser look with pencil work and a few go with the real tight and precise method. I prefer the latter and your piece falls into that category.

Mate,
Thanks I thought so myself. It was an E-bay pick up. I did not realize it until up to the last day that it was of Voss in his F.I 103/17.

Was it a random luck purchase?

Or were you looking for a pencil trip drawing?
