British WWI Aviation Artist
I recently obtained a number of old Russian magazines from the 1909-1917 period, most during the war itself. In one magazine there is a rendition of a British aircraft going down in flames in a rather dramatic fashion, having been shot down by a German aircraft over the battlefront. It appears that John J.C Bryan was the name of the artist. His name is new to me. Perhaps someone has some details on him. I would be glad to post the image at some point, but first need to figure out how to do it. Best regards, agblume
