Linke-Crawford's Aviatik D.I
Here's my latest composition. It depicts Oblt. Frank Linke-Crawford and his Aviatik D.I in combat with a Bristol F.2B on the 29th of July, 1918. I've put a larger version in my gallery here at the Aerodrome.

Beautiful job, Jerry.
I like your interpretation of the Tarnstoff and your capture of the Aviatik D.I Scout. You even have wash-out on the ailerons!
Thanks for sharing, Jay

Thanks chaps!
I think I've caught some sort of bug now for Austro-Hungarian aircraft, so am currently trying to decide whether next to depict a Phonix D.I or an Albatros D.III (Oef). Both are very interesting - I especially like the streamlined blunt cowls on the latter.

Linke-Crawford also flew a Phonix D.I, so there's another possible chance to show one of his machines. He scored several victories with the type.

Okay - I've decided. My next image will be a Phonix D.I.
After that, perhaps a Sopwith Dolphin...

Thanks!
I made a bit of a faux pas with the colour of the fuselage band - it should be black instead of red. Here's an unpdated version (and I've updated the larger version in my Gallery here):
