AAHS Journal question

Please allow me to make odd, happy blatting noises on my own horn........
Some time ago, the American Aviation Historical Society Journal asked if they could use a Nieuport 28 painting of mine for a back cover. I'd kind of forgotten the episode until recently when I heard they actually ran it. My subscription lapsed a couple of years back, so I've been sort of out of the loop as far as AAHS goes. I got a call from them last week and was told the picture won some kind of award from the Society and yesterday a plaque shows up at my door.......and I still haven't seen the issue!
Has anybody seen this? What did the Journal say? Caption?
The plaque didn't come with a copy, and I'm too cheap/broke/lazy to order one right now.

Congratulations again! You know I like this painting Their 2008 volumes are not yet available in the back issues. Do you know in which issue/voume it was mentioned? Probably in the last of 2008.

regards
Kilian

Thumbs up way to go, robert!

congrats on your award and plaque, robert!

pretty ironic story you tell. just save up enough money to keep you in paint and canvas for more of your fabulous paintings.

i suggest you post a similar thread under the magazines and books topics, inquiring if anyone has a copy they'd be willing to let go of.
