The last two vignettes are at the opposite ends of the scale in many ways.The crashed airplane is very somber in mood while the "Buds" piece is a happy one .One very dark subject matter and the other light.
The airplane picture gives the eye very little visual information and looks the most real, while the opposite is true of the figures.Both tell stories but on completely different levels.Proving that in art sometimes less is more!
