OtF COver

Just so there's no confusion, here's what the Brooks painting on OtF actually looks like...Looks like someone got a little frisky with the contrast...

Hi Mike,

Thanks for that! I was wondering what was up with the OtF cover, and thought maybe you were entering a new 'impressionistic period' or something.

that is the mike o'neal i know and love

As i said in an earlier post here in a different thread, the cover seemed not like the O'Neal i know:: this art work in this thread is much better, i mean Farre did not go through a light , impressionistic period and i have always thought that mike's work is very much akin to henry farre's work.
a bit off topic here, but i just learned that while Henri Farre was touring the USA after WWI to sell his paintings to raise funds for the families of French Air service personel he met a young woman in CHicago and they married, and since he lived the rest of his life in the fair city of CHicago he wanted to be known as Henry, not Henri. A point i often had wondered about in the past.
Anyway, the coloring of the cover is not what i usually would expect from Mr O"Neal :: whose work i greatly admire , and is just not represented by the cover.
Hey Mike, i love this piece!!! great work. Will you be making any cpoies or prints of this work?
