"new" work

When I see all the other picture makers post stuff, whether in progress or finished, I get all mopey and draggy and ill-temepered because most of what I do can't be shown until it gets published- and there've been instances where that's been nearly five years. It's like there's a big grand party and I can't go.
OK, given that, here's some "new" work. It was actually done over a year and half ago for a project that has seemingly fallen through. Except got a couple of esteemed friends and colleagues, nobody has seen this, so here goes- its public debut.
This debutante is 15"x30", an oddish format dictated by the original intended use. It's bold, to stand out on the shelves and would've been even more eye-killing had it been printed in the original envisioned size.
I'd like to dump/sell this original to make room for more stuff. It's acrylic on gessoed Masonite. I'm also considering making a print of the darn thing, about 10"x19" overall, but I don't know yet. No arrangements have been made, nothing on my site or blog yet....I just felt like shooting it into an unsuspecting public's face tonight

Very nice, clean, crisp and uncomplicated. Love the colour of the sky.
Good stuff on your website too, esp. like the P51.

Hi Robert,

Like I told you before, I LOVE this piece. Abso-bloody-lutely amazing. I'm sorry to hear that the "project" apparently fell through, along with the other projects you were working on for the same guy??

The fellow behind that same "project" stiffed another artist I know years ago. This piece, and your others, deserve wide distribution. Maybe you should inquire with Ray Rimell or the Wingnut Wings folks!

Thanks everybody!
I've been busy this last week with a couple of near emergency commissions that have deadlines tighter than pantyhose on a hippo. I've also been getting this Dh4 ready to print- there should be some kind of word on that soon.
I've been to the e-hangar site, but haven't really investigated.
and Greg...yep....'at's it.......
