I am curious to know more about the method you use for this art?

Cheers

Hi Sreiko

It is hand drawn first and painted with acrylic on stretched canvas. I make all my stretchers, stretch the canvas and hand prime the surface[in that respect I'm a traditionalist, as well as a teacher of the craft].The size is 4ft X 6ft. I know it is an unconventional approach to the subject at hand, but I like to post on this forum as I know people here are interested in WW1 aircraft. I work from models [also from photos like the one below I took this summer] "painting in" the right side first and than trying to copy it in reverse on the left side, an interesting exercise.
