Thanks for the ISBN #'s. That will make things easier for the bookshop.

Any additional comments on the 'Kosciuszko Squadron 1919-1921'. How many photos and color illustrations?

Finnish Air Force 1918-27

Drifting only a little bit north, a related book to appear in early April, is the first volume on the history of the Finnish Air Force, by Kalevi Keskinen, Kyösti Partonen and Kari Stenman. The flyer I received from Kari says the book is 192 pages, hard cover, over 300 photographs on glossy art paper. The flyer states: "The text (also fully in English) covers the birth of the air arm, the civil war air operations, the German and French phases added with development up to May 1927."

Further details will appear on Kari's web site in due course, from where it can be purchased with a credit card. http://www.kolumbus.fi/kari.stenman/

I am sure this will at least be of interest to the august personage who is the parent of this thread.

Frank.
