Taz, the last US figures I saw (many months back) had nearly 1,500 WW2 vets passing every day. However, recall that in 1938 there were a lot of vets on hand for the 75th anniversary of Gettysburg. WW2 will reach that point in 2020.

Barrett- Saw last week where the last German WW-I flier had passed on. The oldest man in England was a Sopwith Camel fitter/mechanic a month or so ago. He was 109 last time I heard. I remember when the last Civil War veteran (drummer boy) died in the 1960s. Dates me. Born on the same day as the USAF into a fighter squadron that had a run of over 20 daughters in a row. Supposedly from the "g"s.

I have an old copy of a book (paper cover, more of a magazine really) titled "Hals und Beinbruch" signed by Udet- apparently when he toured the U.S. stunting. It is a collection of his drawings. Anyone have any clue as to its value now given what I would describe as good condition?
By the way I recently learned that Udet had a brother who lived in California, apparently employed by the state as a foreman of a road repair crew. Also he was in some branch of the U.S. armed forces during WW1.Anyone know more of that story?
