Hi All,
Geeze, ladies and gents-I'm flattered you have such confidence in me.

I have played around with the idea of doing an Udet book for some time, but I'm afraid it's years in the future, if ever. I would need to get all of "Kreuz wider Kokarde" translated. As totoroman said, Udet's career provides enough material for several books. I would only dare to tackle his WWI career, and stay away from his amazing interwar days as a test pilot, caricaturist, airshow star, raconteur, world-traveler, aircraft designer/builder, film star, etc. etc. Someone else far more well-informed than I am should tackle that period, and his WW2 days full of intrigue, despair and descent into alcohol and drug addiction. In the absence of all that, Herlin's and van Ishoven's books will have to do.
In the meanwhile, I've got several other projects in the pipeline. Back to work...
