Thumbs up Fred Murrin magazine article

The March 2006 issue of Money magazine has a small feature on Fred Murrin, pilot and builder of WW1 aircraft. Anyone familiar with his work may wish to check this issue out. The article is called "How I Did It" and appears on page 142.

Very Best Regards,

FliegerJG1

I just picked up a copy today. The funny thing that happened to me at work on this past Friday was a co-worker, who knew of my interest in WWI aviation, told me about the article. He said this replica builder built a Triplane and then a Camel. I told him the only person I know of that has done something amazing like that, is my friend Fred Murrin. You should have seen his face with is jaw dropped in awe.

Flieger- Thanks. Modest Fred had not even let all his friends know about the article. Were there photographs?

Yes! A full page photo of "Modest Fred" in flying kit standing on the tarmac with his Sopwith Camel in the background accompanies the article. This issue is on newsstands now.

Very Best Regards,
