Hello all,

For an alternative to Amazon, you could try this site:

http://www.abebooks.com/

Here are the results from my query for this book:

http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/Sear...&x=65&sortby=2

You might be amazed at what you can find there, I certainly have!

Regards to all

When Will It Come to the USA?

Dear M B and gang, This book looks great. When do you all expect it to hit our shores and be available for purchase? I can't wait to read it. VR, Roadhog "Memento mori."

You can get it from Amazon, Abebooks or a myriad other online bookstores. Alternatively you can order it by visiting

http://www.freewebs.com/voicesinflight/

AND... it can be ordered via The Aerodrome Forum.

Cheers,

SCARLETT'S BACK

Hey everyone, thanks so much for the kind words about my and Anna's book. We really worked hard on it.

I received my copies in the mail yesterday. Hope it makes it to some bookshelves here in the US.

I have been very preoccupied with my first film -- unfortunately NOT a WWI film, but hopefully a jumping off point for bigger and better things

Cheers,
Scarlett

Wow!

I'm glad this thread has popped back up! Voices in Flight is now on my Amazon.com wish list.

Thumbs up Congratulations!

I joined the Aerodrome Forum over a year ago, but this is my very first post, so: hello, everybody!

My copy of Voices in Flight arrived yesterday, and I have been unable to put it down. The men interviewed have some really inspiring and moving tales to relate, and the photographs are excellent. I love the one of Anna Malinovska with the elderly Thomas Sopwith in his Garden back in 1978... they’re both smoking cigars! The book has a beautifully designed cover and is clearly printed on fine quality paper. Having read about the background to this book, and visited its website, I’m immensely pleased to see Mrs Malinovska’s project of three decades past come to life in the shape of this accessible publication. With various 90th anniversaries being in the news at the moment, it ought to do very well indeed. All in all, it is a cracking addition to my WW1 book collection.

Thanks to all members for their favourable comments on this book.
The path to its fruition has been a long and arduous one. Great credit is due to Scarlett for assistance with the transcriptions of my original interviews.
The relatives of the interviewees are delighted with the volume, and have sent me many congratulatory messages.

Best wishes to all.
