Smile Fokker Triplane Datafile

Good Evening, All,

Can anyone provide a source for the Windsock Datafile on the Fokker triplane? My Roden Triplane is taking on a life of its own, and I need more reference material just to keep ahead of it!

Thanks!

Gary

Found one on Ebay

Look under Fokker. Sorry I can't give you more right now. If I remember it started today or yesterday.

I would try Amazon.com. That were I got mine. It's a great resource for hard to find books and out-of-print books. I had picked up Imer's triplane book for $50 and now it going for over $400.

Gary- Go to abebooks.com and type in Fokker Dr to find several books on the Dr.I. The original Datafile is scarce and has limited photos and what you really want is the Datafile Special. Material is dated but still very good. If you are serious, I would also pick up Paul Leaman's book. Alex's book is the bible, but hard to find. Osprey's Fokker Dr.I Aces has lots of color and photos on Dr.Is. For $100, you can have a pretty good Dr.I library.

The Datafile Special on the Fokker Dr.I is much more detailed and well worth the $25.00 USD.

Hannan's Runway also has the Dr.I Datafile Special in stock listed at $23.25. Hannan's is running a "5% off everything sale" through May 20. Not sure if the listed price includes this discount or not.

www.hrunway.com

I've been a happy customer of Bill Hannan's for years, but have no other connection to his business.

Triplane WDF Special

Hello, Everyone,

Many thanks for these fast replies. The Special is ordered from Hannan's Runway: very good price, and much faster than waiting for the eBay auction to end (which I was watching, actually!). Yet one more example of super help from the Aerodrome team.

Best Regards to All,

Gary
