Issue no.153 Sept/Oct 2006 has just been received. It contains an excellent article on German airship commander Peter Strasser, Commandant des dirigeables, by Hans Werner Neulen. There are always a number of book and kit reviews in each issue, many of which we don't see in other journals. agblume

WWI-related articles routinely appear (Historie) in Flieger Revue Extra series (German language).

Deutsche Bordfliger bis 1918 by fregattenkapitaen a.D. Ulrich Israel in heft 10 is an article which convinced me to post.

For those interested in the Austro-Hungarian side of WWI please check out Öfh Nachrichten, Informationblatt der Österreichischen Flugzeug Historiker, available from Öfh, Pfenninggeldgasse 18/2/14, A-1160 Vienna. Write to Mr. Walter Schroeder at that address. Cost is 25 Euros per year. Published in March, June, September and December. There is usually one WWI article in each issue. The current issue contains an advertisement for Karl Meindl's Luftsiege der k.u.k. Luftfahrtruppen Band 3: Russische Froint 1917-1918. Cost is 21 Euros. From Öfh as listed above. agblume
