French Strategic and Tactical Bombardment Forces of World War I

Hi All,
There was a thread about this book on here a while ago but it seems to have fallen off the edge of the World:-

French Strategic and Tactical Bombardment Forces of World War I René Martel
Translated by Allen Suddaby
Edited by Steven Suddaby

Did anyone who was hunting it down at the time ever get a copy?
I really want this book but looking at the The Scarecrow Press website, it looks to me as if the publishing date is today Oct 28th 2006.
Ideas anyone?
Cheers
S S-C.

I placed in order in late August, still waiting for my book. I either missed the Oct. 28th date when I placed the order (which is likely) or it wasn't there when I placed the order.

If I ever get a copy I'll post a note.

what he said. when I realized it was going to take over two months for me to recieve the book I tossed in two other books to save on shipping and set up a new order. yeah, I'm waiting even LONGER... but at least I'm not gonna pay for seperate shippings for each individual book now.

I'll post something here as well, as soon as the book arrives... which is apparently going to be in early December!

I'll keep my order with Amazon here in the UK open.
I've enough to read and if it should appear before Christmas, it'll make a nice present.
We'll see.
Any news please share here.

I've also been advised by Scarecrow Press that the book will be out mid December. That's fine by me, an nice Christmas present.

I ordered mine directly from them www.scarecrowpress.com. You never know, it may come sooner. One can always hope!

mid-December!?!? oh wait, that's only two weeks later than the previously predicted delivery date.

eh, I'll still want to get this book, if it lives up to even half of what the title says it will deliver it will be worth the price.

Hi Guys,

I got an invoice in the mail today from The Rowan & Littlefield Publishing Group that this book, which I ordered through Scarecrow Press was shipped on November 15th (it should be arriving soon).

EDIT:

Well that was soon, UPS just delivered French Strategic And Tactical Bombardment Forces Of World War I to my door (got some reading to do).

Fly,

My copy arrived today. Kudos and accolaides to the Brothers Suddaby! (and all who helped) Making this work more readily available to the English speaking audience should prove to be an important addition to any collection.

When Schiffer ships 'Schlachtflieger!', two big voids (French Bombers and German attack squadrons) will have had some long needed attention!
