Hi Scott,

Thank you for purchasing Rampant Lion, as well as your kind words to the same. I will keep a look out for your order in the mail. I contacted my printer, and they informed me that the presses were rolling today, and that I should have my books in 15 business days!

Thanks again,

Darren

looks like a new classic!

I have printed off an order form and will be mailing it in as soon as i can get a postal/money order in hand! In another thread there is discusssion of our favorite WWI aviation books, and i mentioned this book - because it looks to be of the magnitude of classic, certainly obvious that alot of work and research has gone into it!

Hi Jastaflieger,

I am certainly flattered that my book has been getting the attention that is has thus far

The book did take an enormous amount of time and energy on my part to complete. While I sacrificed much of my spare time working on the project, it was a labor of love, so it was also very rewarding to me. I tried very hard to present the most complete and accurate picture of the 'Black Knight', and in doing so had to delve into some not so flattering issues in his past. But this is balanced with information proving that he was a man of great character and charm. I hope that this comes across in my book.

I decided to make concessions and accept personal checks from forum members. This is because I have a general trust for the people that visit here.

Thanks again for your impending order. I will contact you when your check arrives.

warm regards,

Darren

Very well done, Darren!

I would like to order one copy but what should I do if I like to get a signature of the author for this copy?

Thanks Hannes, it is nice to finally see my project come to fruition. I was meaning to extend the same congratulations to you in regards to your new work as well. You probably feel the same as I do, as it sounds as if you spent countless hours on it. I will autograph a copy of my book for you, but only if you do the same for me!

Let me know how I may purchase your book, as I live in the US and need to know what the shipping costs will be.

Email me at aspublishing@wowway.com so we can discuss things further.

Thanks again,

Darren

Hi WingedWarrior,

Congratulations on completing your masterpiece! Your admiration for and interest in Ritter von Schleich has come together in this thick tome - a crowning achievement.

I´m quite interested in it and might purchase a copy of it in a few months. My particular interest in Schleich is his influence as Geschwaderkommodore of JG 26 Schlageter.

Kind regards and enjoy what must be exciting times for you!

Reinout

Thank you Reinout, life is better since I finished the book (just ask my wife! ).

I devote a fair number of pages in my book describing von Schleich's time with JG 26. He was very influential during its development, just as Theodor Osterkamp was with JG 51.

Feel free to contact me whenever you decide to purchase a copy. I will have one set aside for you!

Regards,

Darren
