Ni.28
I have just seen an advance copy of Ted's book. The production qualities are great and I think the colour profiles and technical diagrams will please the most fastidious Nieuport fanatic. The colour shots of Ni.28s that survived the war are new to me.
It covers the use of the Ni.28 in the USN, Swiss and South American service.
This is one you will want - for Father's day or Christmas.

Still waiting for mine, and we're running out of "late June" too.

Late June??
Gentlemen:
Tomorrow, is 30 June, June can't get any later! Maybe they meant late July. When I placed my order with Schiffer for the Nieuport 28 book, I think it was in late January, I was then told it would be out in March. I wonder if it has been finished. Colin said he saw some advanced stuff on it. Well, someday, I'll get a knock on the Front door, and there it will be, someday!!
Cloudy skies,
Dan-San

As I understand it, the delays are at the publisher/printer. It's typical though - the author has a hard and fast deadline to meet, the publisher rarely is subject to any of that.
In this case though, knowing Ted and the legion of people and resources he consulted to put this together, it will be well worth the wait.

Mine came
Gentlemen:
It is well worth to wait. The colored illustration by Jaunita are fabulous. And of course the quality you expect of Schiffer is there. I read 'til late last night.Well worth the money.
Blue skies,

Found one on eBay at a 'buy it now'
I found one on ebay at a buy it now for $54 plus $5 shipping. Nice book and great color section. I could have done without the movie chapter but it's all part of the plane's history.

I donīt have any experience with the shop Troy recommends but I get almost all of my books from here Aberdeen Book Store Highly recommended, with excellent stock mostly on WW Two. He does have the Nieuport book in stock as well, though has not listed it yet. Basically he stocks all Schiffer WW1 and WW2 titles.
