Super

when i visited johannisthal ca. 1993, it was still a post -DDR neglected industrial site, overgrown with bushes and accessed by dirt roads. i must dig into my records to find a photo of a sign "alte flugplatz strasse" which was the only hint of the activity that once took place there. i also came across a construction site container/office and an employee showed me some old photos under glass on his desk showing pre-ww1 aircraft but (i regret) i did not follow this up by offering to acquire them.

Berliners, can you pls tell us what the place looks like today. no doubt a housing development/shopping mall now occupies the area?
