New KuK Photo Album

For those of you interested in Austro-Hungarian (K.u.K.) aviation in WWI there is a new 84 page Journal - Revi No.1-301 prduced by Petr Aharon Tesar, titled K.u.K. Luftfahrtruppen Photo Album 1914-1917 Vol.1. ISBN-80-85957-13-2

It is in English, very high quality photo and paper quality and 13 pages of color profiles. A must for any serious modeler.

Contact Petr Aharon Tesar, Mgr., REVI Publications, BOX 143, Ostrava-Poruba, Czech Republic - ** .::* w w w . r e v i . c z * ::.***** - redakce@revi.cz

I obtained my copy through Aviation and Military Book Centre, BOX 4413, Atherstone, Warwickshire, CV99AS, UK - e-mail: sale@aviationbookcentre.com

Cost from them was £ 18.99 - Book order number is 57132AVI

Bonjour!

I second that endorsement! K.u.K. Luftfahrtruppe Photo Album 1914-18 Volume 1 by Tesař is a superb volume which, it must be said is typical of the enthusiastic folks at REVI. The quantity of photographs and the quality of reproduction is wonderful to behold and the profiles of aircraft included are to the highest standard.

Salut!
Kirk

KuK book

AG,
I tried that e-mail address in your post (the one for the Aviation and Military Book Centre), all I get is a 'delivery failure' notice.

Does the book contain any photos or information directly related to KuK 13's time on the western front in Sept 1918? Thanks!

KuK book

OK, I managed to order it from the bookseller AG mentions in his thread above.
Their website is - Aviation Books and Military Books on Military Aircraft- Civil Aviation-Military Hardware & Equipment-World War 1 and World War 2 -
and their product code for the book is 57132AVL
It costs £18.99 plus £2.70 post (in the UK).

BTW, I tried to order it direct from Revi's site; it was absolutely impossible to get their site to accept an order, and an e-mail sent directly to them about this has been completely ignored.
It's been - what? -17 years since the collapse of communism. I would have thought these people might have grasped the basics of capitalism & customer service by now!

Well, that's a bit harsh, there, JohnMacG. I went to their site yesterday, found the button for stuff in English, and ordered two copies of the book. Got a confirmation email, a little discount for ordering two, and everything worked fine.
