WWI tribute in french mag "Avions".
The Nov/Dec issue of french magazine AVIONS No166 is out and pays tribute to 90years since 1918 with a juicy article on french aces during the last year of WWI.
20 pages fully illustrated, clear pics and excellent profiles by T.Dekker. C.Nungesser,M.Boyau, J.Roques, R.Fonck, Levy,Pinsard,de Slade and a few more parade through the pages, don't worry about the brief text in french (for non speakers). Some new statements are made on well known liveries and markings, more than a welcome surprise for many.Check painting on cover. Cheers to all, Cruz. |
