Great book by Jack Sheldon with an intriguing foreword narrative by Prof. Richard Holmes. Anybody else picked it up? Very interesting accounts in there about both the ground war and the war in the air. They have a picture of three Rumpler Taubes fighting five F.E.8s, and if you look closely, you can see the silhouette of a British pilot falling to his death. Powerful and graphic stuff.
