Guynemers Medals

In the book ''The Storks'' in the picture where they have a picture of Guynemers medals. Does anybody know what medal is the one all the way at the bottom with the long chain? I thought it was the Legion D' Honneur, but then in order for it to hang from your neck you need to be commandeur of that award and Guynemer was only awarded to officier. So any ideas as to what medal that was?
