New! FE2b/d from C & C International

Hi,

For those of who who have been ogling John McKenzie's amazing full-size FE2b of the Bomber Command Hall of the RAF Museum, or stunned by those pics of the flying Fee in New Zealand, you have to get this book!

I just received my copy today, and it's a masterpiece - what else would you expect from C & C International? Produced to coincide with the unveiling of the RAF Museum's Fee, this book is simply the definitive work on the subject. Contributors include:

Paul Hare on the development of the series, and experimental work.

Mick Davis on the FE2 in training and home defense units, airframe development, and even Marine operations (who knew?)

Trevor Henshaw on night bombing 1917 to 1918

Colin Owers on the FE2b in Australia (naturally!)

And, the most amazing section - Mick Davis and Trevor Henshaw provide a detailed annotated listing of EVERY FE2 built, its history, ultimate fate, etc.

You'll love the tons of great photos beautifully reproduced, scale plans of every type, color profiles by our own Ronny Bar. The entire book is wonderfully laid out and designed by Colin and Barbara Huston. I just don't see how it could be any better. Whether your interest is in aircraft engineering and technical details, operational histories, personnel, modeling, etc....you need this book!

The good news is, that a similar book on the DH2 is in the works!

Is there a U.S. Distributor for this book?

My all time favorite WWI a/c thanks to Arch Whitehouse 45 years ago!

I went to the C&C web site and it's a little confusing on postage to the U.S. does anyone know if there's a U.S. distributor for this book.

Thanks
Charlie

Got it.
Love it.
It's a gold mine.
Can't wait for the DH2,
and I just got my notice from Amazon that my Osprey Pusher Aces is on the way.
An embarassment of riches!
Cheers,
shredward
