Mate,
My experience has been that everytime I am looking for a book, it always seems expensive. Just my luck it seams - but at least I know that the book is out there and is not my imagenation.

Last book that I was looking for cost me around 55 Euros.

That's the price you pay for being a connoisseur of fine books, Tom!
One thing that puts me off a bit is that books that span decades (such as is the case in the one mentioned here, I believe) is that the coverage of ww1 might be a very small proportion of the whole book.

Since my interest really falls off a cliff after 1918, I find it difficult to justify paying a lot of money to buy really only chapters 1 and possibly 2. See what I mean?

Wiener Neustädter Flugzeugwerke

Hi, Kilian,

this book by Haberfellner and Schroeder deals exclusively with the Wiener Neustädter Flugzeugwerke Gesellschaft mbH (WNF) established in 1938 after the “Anschluß”. Its predecessors at Wiener Neustadt, Oesterreichische Flugzeugfabrik AG (Oeffag, 1914-1933) and Wiener Neustädter Flughafenbetriebs-Gesellschaft mbH (WNF, 1935-1938) are only covered very briefly with a few pages each. If WW I is your area of passion then this might not be the book you expect and it might be better to ask Santa Claus for something else.

Best regards

Stefan

Kilian, I just visited "Blog Site" and I didn't see any "Albatros Oeffag 2-seater"
fotograffen!

With this kind of behavior, I don't think that you should be expecting anything but a Big Lump Of Coal from Santa!

Where's the goods?

Show us the goods!

I am waiting!

Still waiting!

Best Wishes, FOKKERJ

P.S. I believe that you made a better deal on the purchase of the fotografs. Just my opinion.

Thanks!

Hi, tcrean7828,

thanks for your warm welcome, but I have a confession to make (please be seated):

I'm not a WW I nut!.

My interest in german aviation stretches from armistice (1918) to armistice (1945). Since I have been watching this board I have found a lot of useful information with relation to the earliest part of this period though and so I keep visiting. I hope that from time to time I will be able to contribute with info from the other side of November 1918 like in the case above.

Best regards

Stefan
