Ace Bios reprinted.
Casemate has reprinted "King of the Airfighters" and "Eagle of Lille". Casemate Publishing have released new editions of a pair of classic aviation titles: Immelmann: The Eagle of Lille and THE KING OF AIRFIGHTERS: The Biography of Major Mick Mannock, VC, DSO, MC. These new Casemate editions have been entirely reoriginated. Not a word has been changed, but the original type and page layout have been reworked, as has been the format in which the book is presented.
See them here.

"Brief Glory" makes an excellent present also to people beyond the WW1 aviation enthusiast. Through the eyes of one individual it catches a personal slice of English social history in time of war, the hopes and dreams going into that conflict and, in many cases unfortunately, not coming out the other side to realise them.
Buy a copy for a loved one -- wife, girl friend, good mate --at Christmastime. It helps convey what we as aviation enthusiasts find so compelling in that subject. IT WILL BUY YOU BUILDERS ADDITIONAL MONTHS OF GOODWILL AND PATIENCE ON THE PART OF WIVES (you in the workshop and they reading the book!)
