March 1, 2010: Modern technology is helping me connect with more of my friends from my journey, even friends I haven't ever met. I just connected on Facebook with Ed Buryn, the author of "Vagabonding in America," that book I mentioned many pages back. Had it not been for me reading the brief mention he made about airplane hitchhiking, I never would have tried it, nor become a pilot, nor done my 1988 barnstorming journey, nor had the same kids I have today...
